Memorial Day is tomorrow! There are going to be a lot of flags and flowers to be seen this week honoring those whom we remember and celebrate Families will be gathering while a lot of people are off work. The BBQ season begins, pools open, and schools prepare to let out for summer. The vacation plans are in full swing and it feels like we all get to catch our breath. As we move into a season of outdoor, we can support and remember our small business friends who collaborate with us. Kent’s Feed Barn has been great to support our farm, providing easy access to feed and wood pellets for heating. We appreciate the team so much! Orchard Grove Homestead has been supportive, selling flowers and offering options to thier customers while collaborating on various opportunities. As our business grows and we have more flowers to offer, we hope to collaborate with more local businesses to bring the beauty of flowers to everyone who wants them!

Strawflower is a cool season, hardy annnual that grows 36-48” tall. It is best cut at ground level to promote reblooming and the pollinators love it! Strawflowers are amazing dried flowers.
